Absentee voting by mail and in-person for the General Election begins on Friday, Sept.18. Hennepin County will also start sending ballots to those who have already requested to receive one by mail. Please allow a few business days for delivery. To find out the status of your absentee ballot, visit mnvotes.org.

New Hope residents may absentee (early) vote in-person at New Hope City Hall.

  • Regular Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Extended Hours: Saturday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Absentee voting by direct ballot (feeding the ballot into the tabulator just like on Election Day) begins Oct. 27.
