Meadow Lake Watershed Association Workshop Series

Meadow Lake Watershed Association to Host Free Workshop Series
Posted on 12/27/2021

The Meadow Lake Watershed Association is hosting a series of free shoreline planting workshops sponsored by the City of New Hope.

Native shoreline plants are an essential part of a lake ecosystem and provide wildlife habitat, stabilize shorelines and filter pollutants from runoff. The workshop series is led by Carolyn Dindorf, limnologist and co-author of “Lakescaping for Wildlife and Water Quality”, and guides attendees through completing shoreline plantings from design to maintenance.

The first workshop of the series, Designing Your Shoreline Planting, is Saturday, Jan. 29, from 8 a.m. to noon and is a virtual, online event. Register by Jan. 22 by emailing Jodi Taitt at jodi@JLTaitt.com.
