National Night Out: Aug. 3, 2021

After a hiatus in 2020, we are excited to announce that planning is underway for National Night Out, New Hope’s Night to Unite for 2021!

National Night Out, New Hope’s Night to Unite is an annual community-building campaign that takes place the first Tuesday in August each year. This year’s event is scheduled for Aug. 3, 2021.

National Night Out/Night to Unite is designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our New Hope neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It is a great opportunity to speak with police officers, city staff, elected officials and representatives from organizations that serve the city of New Hope under positive circumstances.

Neighborhoods host a variety of different events including block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, sharing of safety and crime prevention strategies, visits from police, neighborhood walks, contests and much more.

Event registration is open and completed registration forms must be received by July 9. It's recommended that registration be completed as soon as possible, especially if you would like to request a visitor to stop by your event. The first 40 parties to register by June 25 are eligible for a free party pack.

Please contact Officer Brad Kallio at bkallio@newhopemn.gov or 763.398.1229 with any questions or for further assistance. We look forward to working together to build relationships, prevent crime and improve safety in New Hope!
