West Metro Fire-Rescue Home Safety Program

West Metro Fire-Rescue District Home Safety Program
Posted on 11/12/2018
The West Metro Fire-Rescue District is offering FREE Home Fire Safety Surveys. This program was developed to educate residents of potential hazards in their home and what they can do to make their home safer.

A member of the fire department staff will walk through your home with you and complete a survey. This usually takes about an hour. They will make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms are functioning and properly located. They will also provide other tools and information to keep your home safe.

Having working smoke detectors, CO alarms, mitigating home hazards, and understanding what to do in the event of an emergency can dramatically enhance your family’s chance of survival.
Make your appointment today by contacting Deputy Fire Marshal Shelby Wolf at 763.230.7006, swolf@westfiremetro.com.
