Special Materials Drop-Off Day is Oct. 12
Hennepin Recycling Group is hosting its fall Special Materials Drop-Off Day on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brooklyn Park Operations & Maintenance Facility, 8300 Noble Ave N. If you live in New Hope, Crystal, Brooklyn Park or Brooklyn Center, you can bring items such as mattresses, electronics, appliances, tires, scrap metal, bikes, batteries and more for responsible recycling. Free paper shredding services will also be available at the event. Some items may have associated fees.
