City Council Agendas, Minutes and Broadcasts

New Hope City Council Meetings and Work Sessions
Regular City Council meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. Council work sessions are generally held on the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

All meetings and work sessions (with the exception of those limited by law) are open to the public.

Agendas and Meeting Materials
City Council agendas and packets, which include supporting documents related to agenda items, are typically posted on the website by the Friday before a Monday meeting.

Watch a Council Meeting Live or On Demand
City Council meetings are broadcast live and available to watch on demand through CCX Media at nhlive.ccxmedia.org or on Comcast Channel 16. A recorded version is available the following day at nh.ccxmedia.org.

Meeting Minutes
Minutes provide the official record of City Council meetings. Minutes are reviewed at a subsequent Council meeting and posted online after approval.

Participate in a Meeting
Residents are encouraged to attend City Council meetings and participate in local government.

Open Forum
Regular City Council meetings include a 15-minute open forum near the beginning of the meeting. The open forum gives individuals an opportunity to speak directly to the Council about City-related topics that are not on the current agenda or scheduled for a future meeting.

Speakers are asked to limit comments to three minutes.

Public Hearings
Some matters require a formal public hearing. When a public hearing is scheduled, members of the public have an opportunity to provide comments related to that specific issue.

Work Sessions
Residents are welcome to attend and observe City Council work sessions. Public comment is generally not taken during work sessions.
