In 2017, the New Hope City Council established a fee schedule for licenses, permits and other city fees. This fee schedule supersedes any amounts specified in City ordinances or policies that were in effect prior to its implementation.

Additionally, a state surcharge is applied to several types of permits, including those for building, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, building moving, sewer connections, water connections, and fire suppression.
