New Renters or Tenants
Utility bills issued by the City must remain in the property owner's name and cannot be transferred to a renter or tenant. This also means that tenants are unable to register for an online account.
Renters can pay their New Hope utility bill online as a one-time payment using their customer and account number. City-issued utility bills can be paid online, over the phone, by mail or in-person.
For more details, tenants and landlords can visit the Rental Property Utility Bills page. Additionally, renters should check with their rental agency or the homeowner to understand their responsibilities regarding other utilities.
