The City of New Hope's annual In Focus photo contest is a perfect way to explore what makes New Hope a great place to live, work and play.
This year's categories include People, Places, Wildlife & Nature and a new category- Events & Activities. Photos will be scored by a panel of judges and awards given for the top photos in the four main categories, as well as a special category for youth photographers. Throughout November, community members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite photo, with the winning photograph awarded the People’s Choice Award.
All photos must be taken by individuals who live, work or go to school in New Hope and the photo must be taken within the city.
Entries must be received by Thursday, Oct. 31.
How to Enter
Submit photos and the completed and signed entry form to communications @newhopemn.gov. Electronically submitted photos must be a high-resolution JPG no more than 5MB in size.
Photos submitted in print should be mailed or dropped off to New Hope City Hall (4401 Xylon Ave N) to the attention of "In Focus Photo Contest" along with the signed entry form.
All entries must be received by Thursday, Oct. 31.
People's Choice Voting
The community will have the opportunity to vote for a winner in the People's Choice category throughout November. A voting link will be posted when voting opens.
